Overview
Apeiros Protocol is an open-source Python SDK for AI cost attribution. We take a minimalist approach to data collection: we only collect what is strictly necessary to operate the waitlist and communicate with prospective users.
What we collect
When you submit the waitlist form on apeirosprotocol.io, we collect: • Your email address • The AI stack you selected (e.g. "Anthropic", "OpenAI", "LangChain") • The timestamp of your submission We do not collect names, company details, payment information, or any browsing data beyond standard server logs (IP address, user agent, referrer — retained for up to 30 days for security purposes only).
How it is stored
Waitlist submissions are stored in Google Workspace (Gmail) via an automated email notification sent to our founder inbox at ubaid@apeirosprotocol.io. Google Workspace is subject to Google's enterprise data processing terms and SOC 2 Type II certification. We do not use third-party marketing automation tools, CRMs, or data brokers to store your submission.
How we use it
We use your email address solely to: • Notify you when the Pro hosted dashboard becomes available • Send you early-access invitations if you are selected as a design partner • Respond to questions you send us directly We will never sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties. We will never send unsolicited marketing to your address beyond the above.
SDK data collection
The Apeiros SDK (apeiros-sdk on PyPI) runs entirely in your own infrastructure. It does not send any telemetry, cost data, or customer identifiers to Apeiros Protocol servers. All cost attribution data stays local to your process. If you choose to upgrade to the Pro hosted dashboard in the future, data transmission will be opt-in, documented separately, and subject to a data processing agreement.
Your rights
You may request deletion of your waitlist data at any time by emailing ubaid@apeirosprotocol.io with the subject line "Delete my data". We will remove your submission within 5 business days and confirm by reply. If you are located in the EU or UK, you also have the right to access, correct, or port your data. Contact us at the same address.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date below and, if you are on our waitlist, notify you by email before the changes take effect.
