Terms of Service

1. The SDK is MIT-licensed

The Apeiros SDK (apeiros-sdk on PyPI) is released under the MIT License. You are free to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the software, subject to the terms of the MIT License included in the repository at github.com/apeirosprotocol/apeiros-protocol. Nothing in these Terms of Service restricts or supersedes rights granted by the MIT License for the open-source SDK.

2. Hosted services (Pro plan)

The Pro hosted dashboard, alert infrastructure, and history storage are separate from the SDK and are offered as a commercial service ("the Service"). The Service is currently in private beta; access is by invitation only. By accessing the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use Apeiros Protocol (SDK or Service) to: • Violate any applicable law or regulation • Process personal data without appropriate legal basis under GDPR or equivalent privacy law • Attempt to reverse-engineer, interfere with, or disrupt our infrastructure • Resell or sublicense access to the hosted Service without written permission • Send spam or unsolicited communications using data derived from our tools

4. No warranty

The SDK is provided "as is" per the MIT License, without warranty of any kind. The hosted Service is provided on a best-efforts basis. We target high availability but make no uptime guarantee outside of a separately negotiated Enterprise SLA.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apeiros Protocol shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the SDK or the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.

6. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. If you are on the waitlist or a paying customer, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect.
